These are some of the movies to come out of Motion Tools II: Compositing this semester. Some very advanced work using green screens, color correction, camera projections, tracking, and a lot of layers.
A short video put together by students in the Motion Tools III: Applications class. They are working with digital video, digital audio, compositing, editing, and color grading.
Students did their own matchmove and masking. Then added their own fountain (modeling, texturing, and lighting) and simulated the water. They then composited the whole thing.
In this piece, students complete a matchmove, then model, texture and light their scene. They also perform rigid body dynamics, bake the simulation, then render out in passes. Finally they add particles and composite the whole thing. All this work is done in HD.
Animation students animated a mouse rig through a tabletop of cats! This is the first time using any sort of character rig for most students. They rendered in layers and finished the composite in After Effects.
Some spots have appeared in classes, other classes have been cancelled for low enrollment--make sure to stay on top of your classes!
