Assignment geared towards artistic expression and learning new vector-based tools.

Students were to illustrate a cartoonish character and an environment for the character to animate through. They began in Illustrator and moved into Flash for the animation process.

Using the artists orginal color scheme, students reinvented a famous painting into their own graphic creation.

Task: Create a concert poster with emphasis on a portrait of the musician(s). Students chose one of their favorite musicians, worked with type and developed visual themes based on the music.
