Movie Poster
For DIGM 2720 Raster-Based imaging, students devised their own movie title and a unique visual theme create a fictitious movie poster. Often, the student is encouraged to put themselves in the poster.
Famous Painting Translation
Using only the vector tools, students were tasked with translating a famous painting into vector art for DIGM 2710 Vector-Based Imaging.
Celebrity Portrait
Students used a variety of techniques to create a celebrity portrait for DIGM 2710 Vector-Based Imaging. Techniques include a mosaic of icons, all text, or graphically simplified color tones.
Storytelling Photo Composite
For DIGM 2720, students were challenged to tell a creative story with this photo composite project.
Character Design
It’s easy to see the likeness of a familiar actress playing the Black Widow character. The twist is that Digital Media student Spencer Morgan chose to stylize the features in the Disney princess style.
CD Mockups
Some student work from DIGM 3220 Digital Publishing – Students chose their own unique theme for the CD package design. Emphasis is placed on telling a visual story through typography and creative image manipulation.
